The company
Station Matting is a trading name of The Maximum Industrial Group Limited, company no. 17360049. The registered office is Lancaster Park, Newborough Road, Needwood, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 9PD.
Station Matting is a trading name rather than a separate company. We say so on every page because it is a legal requirement for a trading name, and because knowing exactly who you are buying from is worth more than a logo.
Why a site that sells one thing
Maximum Industrial Group Ltd sells industrial matting across a wide range: entrance matting, bench matting, electrical safety matting, hundreds of products. A workstation kit is one line in that range and it gets lost there.
It is also a product almost nobody knows exists. In the UK you can buy loose interlocking tiles from a dozen places, or you can ring a trade supplier and wait for a quote. What you cannot easily do is buy a complete, correctly sized, edged work position with a card, delivered, at a price you can see before you commit.
That is the entire reason this site exists. One product, priced openly, specced honestly, with the size question answered before you order rather than after.
What we will not do
- Publish a per-tile price. We sell finished work positions. Comparing a completed, edged, delivered position against a bare tile is not a comparison, and we are not going to invite it by pretending it is.
- Repeat absence-reduction statistics. Numbers circulate in this category claiming matting cuts absence by a specific percentage. They trace back to vendors, not to research. We use HSE figures for the size of the problem and ergonomics literature for the mechanism, and we say which is which.
- Run trade pricing. One price for everybody. A quote from us is the same number the website shows a stranger.
- Sell you the nearest thing. If your combination is one we do not make, the finder says so and sends you to a person.
